This Package contains digital Assets of three different watches. The specific models of the watches are:

About TANDEM

The digital Brand TANDEM has been established in 2022 by BIOCHEMIST as an effort to promote purely digital products and sell them to be actually owned by you, instead of relying on the store or developer of the game to maintain the Accessory.

Getting started

So first of all, this watch model has been made specifically for VRChat Avatars, but we also opened up the possibility to incorporate it into other, maybe future social VR titles. Because of this fact we will be focussing on setting it up for VRChat.

1. choose one of the .unitypackage files. You can choose your preferred version based on the Product Number shown in the images or described in the above text.
2. open Up your Unity Project with your avatar. In this case we assume, that you have a working avatar as a unity project ready to work with.
3. make sure, that youre using Unity 2019.4.31 for your project (optional, we worked in this version, so we can only guarantee it working in this version)
4. make sure that you have atleast poiyomi shaders 6.3 installed. The watch is using the toon shaders from poiyomi.
5. make sure your VRChat Avatar 3.0 SDK is working and up to date. Apparently the VRCSDK is making some stuff, that makes the display glow of the watch look a little different, if not installed correctly.
6. drag and drop your chosen .unitypackage file into the file browser of your unity project. Click on import, when the little window with the dependencies appears.
7. after the import is done, you should be able to see a new folder called TANDEM Watches. In this folder everything is stored, that you might need for the watches to work properly.
8. In this folder you navigate to Prefabs and drag your preferred version into the scene. If you for some reason don't like the size of the watch, there are alternative version of the same watch in there, just try them out.
9. now it depends on how your avatar is setup. Usually you have to move the watch in the hierarchy on the left of the scene view into the forearm bone of your avatars Armature. So you basically open up your avatar on the right, open up the avatar and find the left or right elbow (or the one bone before your wrist bone), to put it into. (Just in case it doesnt work, you sometime have to unpack you avatar, as it probably still is a packed prefab. To do that click on the avatar in the hierarchy and click on unpack prefab or unpack prefab completely)
10. with the movement tools (such as move, rotate, scale) you place the watch around the wrist of your avatar until it fits well.
11. at this point you already should be done and are ready to upload.
